Nonprofit thrift store, Lotus House Thrift, is seeking a driver for our pick up and delivery truck, a 14 foot box truck, to manage delivery of furniture and pick up of donations to the store, including driving the truck and moving furniture into and out of homes and apartments. Lotus House Thrift, LLC is the primary work program of Lotus House Women's Shelter. Donated furniture is used to outfit the apartments of the women and children who live at Lotus House as they move into their own homes, and proceeds from the store fund our employment training activities at the store. It is a mission-focused social enterprise supporting some of the most vulnerable in our community. Candidates must have a driver's license in good standing (able to be insured under the Foundation's auto insurance policy), experience with larger truck driving, and friendly demeanor, and must be hard worker, team player, and someone looking to make a difference in our community. Must be able to pass level 2 criminal background check.
